GoldSuite 2

If the following error ever pops up and you use GoldSuite2 for your timeclocks, then here is the answer. This definately beats 50 bucks a call and 2 dollars a minute.  However, if you like being raped then go call them.

The fix is:

1. Do a search in the Goldsuite2 directory for *i.adi
2. You most likely will find four files.
3. Delete them or if you think I am tricking you rename them.
4. Try the application again.

You see, this crappy program is based on a Delphi database.
Very cheap and very shaky. To top it off the developers made a DEFAULT
database called Advantage. Anytime your timeclock application crashes the program reverts to the TEST Database the developer created on his computer when he wrote the program. YES, that H:\BigDog\Ace yada yada yada path is a real path that was on the developers system and is forever embedded in the program.

You can bet your ass that Qqest won’t tell you and won’t admit and will not post it to their website. They would rather take your money.

Well I am not a Sheep.
